hi,

this is turning out to be a bit of a nightmare, we have allready booked our flights to thailand to bring wifes sons aged 11 years old to uk on EEA permit. we need to get passports for her sons but we have just been told that both parents need to sign passport forms , my wife has not seen her husband in ten years nor does she have any contact what so ever or does not know his where abouts. can anyone advise me on a way around this if at all ?

secondly since we will be making an EEA visa application into uk embassy next week , does the sons biological father have to give permission for the kids to travel out of thailand ?

if so then this is going to be impossible. as i said her husband could be dead for all she knows or cares about, she is a poor farmer from isaan therefore does not understand she has to go to court for sole custody etc.

please help. on what should i do or what papers i need to get .

thanks in advance

With respect, your topic title gives the impression you want advice on EEA family permits, but you are actually asking about obtaining Thai passports for your step sons!

A bit more thought given topic titles will get you more relevant answers.

If you do want advice on EEA family permits, feel free to open another topic on that matter.
