Popular Post Prudent_rabbit
The Details Though I would try out Savannaket for a Visa Run, just got back here are the details I have 4 Non Imm B Visa’s and 3 Tourist (multi Entry) and 5 Cambodia Visa’s plus numerous returns to Malaysia, Singapore and the PI Booked a flight with Nok Air leaving Sunday at 5:40 arrive Nakon Phabom about 7:30 Was met at the airport by a taxi driver and an hour later Im at the Mukdahen border Went into the Savaan Vegas Shop, they were expecting me, they had filled out a TM6 form for my return journey, they took a copy of my passport and then straight into a minibus for the short journey across the bridge. The Mukdahen border crossing is big and easy, no walking lark, you drive up, get out, met by a representative, he alleviated me of 1500 baht and a photo for the Lao VOA plus 40 baht weekend charge, 5 minutes later were on our way, 5 minutes after that we are at the Vegas Complex. On arrival there, i was met by Anna, who got me to fill out 2 power of attorney forms, and I filled in a Visa application form, handed over 3000 baht for a triple entry and then went to my room. Savanvegas do everything, so no getting up early to make sure you get to the embassy on time, no hanging around, nothing, your time is yours, especially useful when football is on in the early hours. Today, got a phone call asking what time I would leave, (4pm), at 2 pm I was told my passport was ready to be picked up from the VIP desk, done and dusted. Left the complex at 4pm, got to the airport at about 5.30, got the 7:30 flight back to Don Muang The Cost 3000 Baht for Thai Visa 1540 Baht for Lao visa 3199 baht for hotel and transport 2100 for airfare On the plus side, no running around, no worrying about anything, food is all included in the price, plus you get a free 90 minute massage at the Spa attached to the casino. Very relaxing and no hassles and beer Lao is 60 baht in the Casino Free Wifi and full True package in the room, room is quite good, nice and clean and the staff are very friendly, The staff and communication emails / phone calls from Savan Vegas are 1st class Negatives Although advertised as a 5 star resort, it isn’t, its a European 3 star at best, the food is OK and only OK, and the Casino is a smoking casino, and everybody smokes!! All in all, 10k, a triple entry tourist visa, lots of books read and a very relaxing time, sure beats the hell out of doing a KL Visa run

Colabamumbai
Are you sure that you got a triple entry tourist visa? I thought that only doubles were available in the area.
Mario2008
3000 baht means 3 entries. triple entry tourist visas are availeble in the region, but since the validity of the visa is only 3 months in many cases not useful/worth it.

danfred
Are you sure that you got a triple entry tourist visa? I thought that only doubles were available in the area. Yep its a triple and 3 months ( I travel quite a bit and for me its useful) and not a hint of texas holdem Can anyone confirm this? According to the Savan Vegas Visa Run website (http://www.savanvegas.com/visarun/) the triple entry is valid for 3 entries over 180 days total stay (60 days + 60 days + 60 days). Is this false advertising? TOURIST VISA Requirements are: Completedapplication form, 2x colour passport size (4x6cm) photos and Visa application fee as below.Single Entry (60 days) - Fee 1,000 THB Double Entry (60 days + 60 days) – Fee 2,000 THB (Specify 'Double Entry') Triple Entry (60 days + 60 days + 60 days) – Fee 3,000 THB (Specify 'Triple Entry')

danfred
miss information. Due to Vaildity you must use all 3 entires within 90days. visarunner... thanks so much for the info... I think you just saved me 2000 baht!. It is so confusing that every Thai consulate website I look at indicates that the visa validity ("Enter Before") date extends based on the number of entries permitted... Royal Thai Consulate General - Vancouver (http://www.thaiconge...ver.org/FAQ.htm) A double entry visa allows you to stay in Thailand for a total of 4 months; however, each entry permits you to stay in Thailand for 2 months. This means that you must leave Thailand every 2 months. Your return to to the country (which can be on the same day as when you leave the country) will subsequently activate your next entry. A triple entry visa allows you to stay in Thailand for a total of 6 months or 2 months per entry. You must activate your visa entry every 2 months by leaving and returning into Thailand (same as double entry visa). For double entry and triple entry visas you have to use the last entry of your visa within six months from the date of issue. Royal Thai Consulate General - Los Angeles (http://www.thaiconsu...aspx?link_id=25) Tourist Visa * A single-entry must be utilized within 3 months from the date of issue. * Two-Entry Visa must be utilized within 180 days from the date of issue (Not exceeding 60 days for EACH entry). so... just for the record the Savannakhet Consulate is issuing double and triple entry tourist visas... but never with a validity over 3 months? SInce I don't travel outside Thailand often... the double entry visa might actually be worth while... it would allow me to enter Thailand for two consecutive 60 day stays + 30 day visa extension) = 150 days... still better than the single entry 60 days + 30 extension I been doing over the past 7 years! Providing you plan to use the second 60 day visa to enter before its 3 month 'Use Before' date then you can extend the first 60 day entry by 30 days, later go to the border to get the second 60 days then finally extending that entry by 30 days to get almost 180 days.
