jko
PS a CV is not "very confidential personal data." Thanks for this Bangkockney, but the domain is jobbinthai.com not jobinthai, It appears to be based in Evansville, Minnesota USA. The server is canaca.com, based in Ontario, Canada. I agree that a CV doesn't reveal bank accounts etc. but it will have a list of schools & colleges attended, educational qualifications, a list of employers previous and current, often a list of personal references. This comes together with a home address, phone numbers, fax, email, date/place of birth, plus in some cases an photocopy of an ID or passport number. These are all the necessary starting ingredients for abuse of some kind, including identity theft. Edited July 1, 2012 by jko
bangkockney
Sorry I should have provided clearer instructions. You could well forward the email to the owner of jobinthai and make then aware someone is potentially trying to run a scam on the back of their name. dbinmaui
one should be wary before answering to this email.. it looks very dubious to me since they are using many different names with same content of message. This is spam, my webmaster and me both got an e-mail from them today. They created a fake account and used mine and a colleague's e-mail address and inserted them into the From: line. Stupidely, they also used the same addresses in the To: line. Best is to delete or to report it to spam cop.
