Husband and Wife arrested and substantial drug seizure made by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--A Husband and Wife were arrested and a substantial amount of drugs were seized during a raid of an apartment in Jomtien on Sunday Night.

Police conducted a raid of a rented room at the Baan Leela One Apartments off the Tepprasit Road based on information given to them relating to the couple and their suspected drug dealing activities. Police arrested Khun Nawee aged 27 and his wife, Khun Marisa aged 19.

Drugs seized include 4 blocks of Marijuana weighing a total of 4kg, 200 Yabba Tablets, 15g of Crystal Methamphetamine and other items consistent with the allegations of drug dealing including digital scales, empty plastic bags and plastic straws and a book with customer details inside. Khun Nawee, who claimed to work at a Karaoke Bar in Central Pattaya
