it was a Buddhist celebration in advance of the big one in a few days

most of the participants were children from local schools

there were many different floats and many beautiful costumes

its not considered to be a tourist attraction so its not widely publicised

it happens every year at this time

make a note on next years calendar......

see all the stalls are going up on beach road toady, another few days staying out of town due to traffic congestion. think it said starts 2nd August.

The monks are about to go in for 3 months.
