Anyone has or knows someone who has some puppies he wants to get rid of. Looking for a nice dog for my son. Dont realy mind the breed but not something too small.

Thanks

If you're not bothered about the breed why not try any back street soi or temple.

Hundreds of puppies and dogs that are just wanting good homes. :o

You see puppies for sale in the Naklua market. I wouldn't buy one there though because I think there probably is too much "inbreeding" and you end up with a crazy dog.

Just walking around Pattaya you might happen on a "puppy" family and get a chance to (maybe) know who the dog parents are. I see dogs all the time in Pattaya - they must be making little baby dogs all the time! Walk around a bit and take a looksee.

Whatever you do, be very careful about buying in South Pattaya's Tuesday/Friday market. My wife bought a not inexpensive dog there and it turned out to be seriously ill (the vet said it would die soon). After much argument, the guy replaced it and the new one was seriously ill too. He refused point blank to give her her money back. For the sake of a quiet life we just did the necessary with the vet to get the dog better. When my missus asked around, she found 3 other people who had bought from the same guy. Two of the dogs had died within a couple of weeks and the other had run up huge vet's bills before finally getting better. The problem is he must give them some medication cos they don't appear to be ill in the market. Far better to get one off a friend or a friend of a friend, alternatively a proper pet shop (there used to be one in Soi Buakhao, although I think it has probably moved now).

a friend of mine bought 2 retrievers and an alsation from the market on Threpasit .

all dead within 4 days from Parva.

Vet said they were all sick when he bought them and the seller must have known.

When he went back the seller refused to give any refund but did offer to sell him some more dogs. :o

If you're not in a hurry... our dog will get puppies mid-February. Obviously I don't know yet what colours they will have nor their gender. The mother is a medium-sized black and white dog, similar to a border collie but not a special breed.

She got five puppies the last time: one black, one black/brown, one black/white, one white/spotted and one brown/white.

Send me a P.M. if you're interested.

I've seen some nice puppies on walking street. :o:D

I said if you are selling those puppies? I'll have the one with the big pink nose. :D:D

Sorry! Couldnt resist. Really thought Dave would have beat me to it.

When buying a puppy ... look for bright eyes and activity (eg a dog that looks healthy). Leave from the dealer and go straight to the vet. Get it treated for kennel cough and parvo virus if needed.

Bought a perfect chihuahua 18 months ago at JJ in BKK (where everyone says "don't buy they all get sick and die" ) as have many of my friends.

Another great option is go to your vet's office and ask him where to get a puppy!

True in some cases but not all. A few years ago i bought my ex a dog(a little terrier) He was the quietest in the box. But she insisted on having him. So we took him home and he slept and was physically sick later. But seemed to be fine by the next day. Within 2 weeks he wasnt himself. Head shaking and when he tried to eat his back end would lift of the ground and he would topple over. As you can imagine we were very worried. So we took him to the vet. Turned out he had something wrong with his blood and probably got it from his mother. So a few jabs some pills and a few baht later. He was fine. I have not been with my ex for over 2 years now but i can confirm that the dog is still going strong. I do miss him but not her. :o:D So if you do buy at JJ then take him/her straight tp the vet to get checked out.
