MaartenK
Does anyone know a basic sauna around On Nut? I used to live at Ratchada and frequently went to Carnation, a large sauna for Thais. Basic, but clean and very good value for money at only 140 Baht. Now I moved to On Nut and hope to find something similar. I don't want to spent ridiculous money on the farang oriented expensive spa's. Any advice is very much appreciated.

DrTuner
Can't answer your question, I'm afraid, but as a Finn who does know a thing or two about Saunas, would you mind elaborating on what you mean by Thai style ? AFAIK Sauna isn't exactly native here, although it is very pleasant even in the tropics. Sports clubs would be my first search on Google if I were looking for a Finnish style sauna. Badminton courts to be exact.
1weatherman
Takrai Hom on Suk 77/1 has a sauna, which I guess is basic. Just a big square wooden box, occupancy one, where you sit and sweat. Nice sauna. It's been over a year since been there but think it was 100 baht for 1 hour. I couldn't last 1 hour. Would have been dead by then. Hope this helps. riceyummm
I'm sorry I can't help you on this but I love the title of the thread. I thought it was going to be something erotic.
