zoza
ok i know this has been done to death, but i met a bloke in a bar a few months ago he seems an ok type, he travels all over the world working,is married to a nice thai lady, and i was introduced to him through a friend i've known for years in thailand. about two weeks ago i mentioned that i would be going to bangkok to get my wedding registered and he asked why i was going to bangkok,i replied to get the permission to marry document and the translation ect that i'd researched on here inside ten minutes he told me and my friend that you don't need to go to bangkok to get married that you can just turn up anywhere in thailand and get married without a right to marry document and that there is no need to contact the British embassy and all this is legal in the uk and the world when i begged to differ he explained that he and his lady had done it in the flesh, and were not anonymous strangers spouting on the net . all things considered he sounded very convincing and if i had just landed in thailand i might not be posting this, but i have found the mods+most members of t v very knowledgeable so gents am i right to go to bangkok with my decree nisi my passport my wifes thai decree nisi my wifes i. d my wifes housebook and i do exactly what... thanks in advance . chiang mai
"i met a bloke in a bar", end of story with respect to advice recieved! You need the letter of approval from your embassy and for that you need your divorce documents, your initial thoughts were entirely accurate and the person you were speaking with doesn't know diddly.
