Hello all,

I'm going to apply for a Tourist Triple Entry Visa around the 25th September but have been in Thailand already this year. I made 2 visits, a total of 31 days. If I apply on the 25th it will have been 188 days since I exited (on the 20th March). I am planning to fly to Thailand around the 9th October so I can wait a few more days to make the application, but want to leave enough time to get my passport and visa back safely in time. Have I been outside Thailand for a sufficient amount of time to apply for the visa? For some reason I'm thinking I need to have been out 190 days, or have I just invented that??!

On one of my visits this year I accidentally overstayed 2 days and paid the fine at the Laos border which is recorded in my passport - will this affect my application?

According to all I've read here, Hull still issue Triple Entry visas and this is the office I'm planning to use.

Help massively appreciated.

Overstay is no problem for getting a new visa. Neither is there a time requirement for being out of the country. That requirement was abolished a few years backand didn't apply to eprsons on a visa.
