Suspected burglar caught by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--A man suspected of breaking into a house belonging to a French resident was arrested by Pattaya Police on Thursday evening.

Police Colonel Tamanoon held a press conference to announce the arrest of Khun Supalert aged 21. He was caught as he left the Baan Com Kong Gow Pawn Shop in Central Pattaya where he had pawned Gold rings and an Apple IPad belonging to the Frenchman. However, the suspect failed to delete pictures from the device which belonged to the Frenchman.

Items seized from the suspect include instruments which the suspect claimed he would use to break windows to assist him in breaking-into properties. Khun Supalert is accused of breaking-into the house of the Frenchman, located in Soi 5 off the Pratamnuk Road earlier this week. Police checks revealed that Khun Supalert had recently been released from Prison where he served time for motorbike theft.
