eyecatcher
there will also be a 5 year old with us Well he/she will be painfully disappointed if there isn't a fat man with red suit and white beard around. Failing that; plenty of orange juice, keep the E numbers ups and they wont care.

Last year we went to the La Meridian. It was very good except for no cranberry sauce. I think Dukes will probably have a Christmas Buffet After the American Thanksgiving you will see many places proclaiming a Christmas Buffet and New Year Eve parties. SamSipEt
The Olde Bell has Xmas lunch and dinner that might be more fun for a 5 year old. In previous years they have had a cold cuts buffet on boxing day which is very good.

underthemoon
Ive been told that the Holiday Inn has a good evening buffet, not the cheapest by all accounts but very good. Someone will be able to inform you a bit more than myself no doubt. But so far that's my plan for Xmas day.
uptheos
Almost that time of year? Come on guys it's still September. Best place for Thanksgiving has to come yet. Edited September 20, 2012 by uptheos
amykat
I went to Le Meridien last year. I think it was quite nice. They had a roaming Santa giving small gifts, a man making balloon animals, a small Xmas choir of kids, and nice food. I might have gone on Xmas Eve, but think they had something the same for Xmas day/evening. Edited September 20, 2012 by amykat
lizardtongue
If you are serious about having a Western style Xmas get down to BKK Dusit Thani Silom great Xmas lunch/dinner and atmosphere a little expensive but worth every baht. Beats anything CM has to offer.
