Seen a fair amount of Land Rover series cars for sale in Thailand, for fairly cheap (much cheaper than the 3million baht or so for actual Land rover Defenders. I was wondering if it was possible to conver the series front end with a land rover Defender front end. any thoughts?

Basically I was thinking swwap out the hood fenders, grills and a series land rover gets transformed to a defender.

Is it possible?

Modifying the body work is probably possible but this would not transform a Series 3 in to a Defender. It would only look more like one but still drive like a Series 3. The biggest improvement Land Rover made with the 110 and Defender was the coil suspension. Unlike the current models, styling of body work was a secondary consideration for most older Land Rovers.
