Police refer possible drugging incident at South Pattaya club to the Courts

PATTAYA:--A bizarre incident at an unnamed entertainment complex on Walking Street was reported to Pattaya Police early on Monday Morning. Khun Pacharin aged 33 claimed another woman, Khun Pornpan aged 30, who she did not know, placed ½ a sleeping tablet inside her drink while inside the complex.

Just after 2.45am both the victim and suspect went to Pattaya Police Station and Investigators were told that Khun Pornpan apparently placed the ½ tablet in the wrong drink. She intended to place it in the drink of her sister as the pair were having trouble sleeping and the pair had allegedly planned to consume the sleeping tablet one hour before they intended to sleep. The tablet was identified as Codiphen 50mg and is a light sedative used to assist sleep.
