PATTAYA:--Acting on a search warrant issued by the Pattaya Provincial Court, Banglamung Police conducted a raid on a house located inside the Wantip Village 1 in Soi Neun Plub Wan in East Pattaya on Tuesday which was thought to contain products which have not been approved for sale by the Thai Food and Drug Administration and other products which have been illegally imported into Thailand to avoid the import tax.

Inside the house at the time of the raid was Khun La-ongdao aged 20 and her mother and joining Police were officials from the Consumer Protection Agency. Thousands of products were seized, worth over 500,000 Baht, and the daughter of the house owner confessed to selling them to local shops for more than 1 year. They had also been arrested three times before and charged with similar offenses.
