stubuzz
I am in the process of gathering all the documents and jumping through the hoops to obtain a family visit visa to the U.K. for my wife and daughter. My parents will be sponsoring the trip.I was looking at the documents that they are required to submit and i saw that the VFC want the originals. My question is will my parents have to send their passports to me, or will signed and dated copies be suffice? Thanks in advance.

beano2274
I used a copy of my Mums/Uncles passport page, a letter of invitation and also proof that there was enough space in the house, which could be included in the letter, I also included proof that my Mum/Uncle owned the house, but this is not really required. No financial as I and my wife were paying for everything else. Just to add my mum and my uncle scanned them all and sent by email, I printed them out which was okay for VFS.
