Immigration reminds hotels of need for foreigner check-in reports

PATTAYA:--Chonburi Immigration Police officials met with representatives from about 100 area hotels to remind them of the need to report check-ins of foreign tourists.

Lt. Gen. Phanu Kerlappol told the hotel executives at the Nov. 8 meeting in Jomtien Beach that reporting was a key to solving crimes such as credit card fraud, burglary, visa overstaying and drug peddling perpetrated by foreigners.

Im sure if they were given a fine, they wouldnt have to be reminded so much. Also their cctv camers would work better if they were given a fine.
