More likely this was sexual, especially given the lyrics to Back to December. Next came John Mayer, at 32 a bit older than the 19 year old Swift at the time. He dominated the relationship and broke up with her, incurring her worst wrath and she wrote the worst ever song about him. She plays the young girl card after throwing herself at him.
