soundman
Are these readily available? And if so, do the main shops (like AIS, DTAC) sell them? TIA.
Gary A
I stopped at the Telewhiz shop at Tuk Com and the lady gave me two of the trimmed pieces. The micro sim fits in the trimmed pieces. I had to sand the edges of the micro sim down just a little but it works.
Deke
Why not just get them to make you a new standard-sized SIM with the original number?
Satcommlee
If you buy a True sim card, you can pop out the micro-sim part out the larger sim frame. Then put your microsim into the larger frame and a bit of glue or even some sticky tape on the back.. Job done. edit: not all true sims are like this, you need get a recent one with 3G/H on it, they are still only like 99 baht. soundman
Why not just get them to make you a new standard-sized SIM with the original number? Because I want to use that number between two phones while I am travelling.I haven't asked, but would definitely do that if AIS would let you have two SIMS (don't mind paying). Just get my current Micro SIM, copy it and flash a regular size SIM.
Deke
AIS will let you have up to 5 SIM's with the same number but you can only use one at a time for voice calls. For data, you can use as many devices as you want, with the exception of "unlimited" data promotions.
Shurup
I bought them on eBay, I think a set of 5 for a few bucks.

I suppose I'll go into AIS strore and ask today.BTW - can order online in Thai. Digitalbanana
DTAC gave me a Micro Sim with a Standard Size Sim Adapter for free when I asked to replace my existing standard size SIM. So can use either with different model phones.

soundman
Okay. Updated for anyone interested. AIS sells a conversion pack which includes Normal to Micro, Normal to Nano, Micro to Nano adapters and that little piece of prodding wire like a paperclip that you use to eject the SIM from HTC devices. 149 Baht.
