Jeunesse Luminesce Skin Cosmetics - Unsubstantiated Claims?

Featured Replies

My expat neighbour has recently enthusiastically signed up with this slick MLM company hoping to make some income by promoting these skin rejuvenating products (and look ten years younger by using them herself) which amongst other ingredients include "adipose derived adult stem cell conditioned media"

There is a great deal of questionable hype on the web about this, but very little scientific information beyond the claims, or any peer-reviewed studies of results.

Does anyone have any long term experience with the efficacity of these products?

Or the business ethics of the company?

never heard of it but of course adipose is another term for fat.

Don't even consider to buy this shit, 4,935 Baht retail price for a 15ml bottle. That used to be the price of gold until a few years ago. I'm not sure there is a drug in the pharmacies this expensive for the weight, and drugs are checked for effects and sideffects, and approved by some government agencies. Cosmetics manufacturers can claim and lie as much as they want. Jeunesse is a brand new MLM company based in the US, trying to make a quick buck until too many disappointed customers speak up.

My girlfriend had Botox applied a couple of months ago, and while I disapproved the waste of money, the result was good. She said it would last about 6 months, and cost 12,000 Baht.

Also have Thai lady friend who is going crazy with this to make her fortune.

I checked the web and see a lot of familiar type of hype which is becoming the thing of the day.

The mention of stem cell in a commercial product rings bells instantly with me.

Many websites touting this product. Many reviews on Amazon too but hype is hype.

High Prices and Promises brings in a lot of money for the web geeks to be paid well for their promotion effects.

Those who pay high money to look 10 years younger must be right~! Mirror mirror on the Wall~!!!

The problem with all these various products is that, even if they contain what they say they do (not always the case), absorption is very limited.

Topically applied creams and lotions can help keep skin moist by reducing loss of water and can block the rays of the sun, preventing sun damage. Retin-A and products that contain retinoids can reduce wrinkles but need to be used for months to see results. That's by and large it.

Botox, fillers, IPL and other treatments can do a lot. So can chemical peels. A dermatologist can also apply medications in a manner that permeates below the outer layer of the skin
