Thaksin Attempts To Dispel Rumors During Weekly Radio Address

PM Thaksin urged people not to believe the rumors of the army transfer to local administration

Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has warned people through his weekly radio address this morning to be careful about the rumors which aim to discredit the government such as the transfer of army units to the local administration.

The premier said such rumor is untrue, and he has urged people to think about the performances of the government over the past five years.

Prime Minister Thaksin said the government has done its best to develop the country such as employment, economic growth, national debt, public safety and welfare, as well as the budget for people.

He said currently, there are negative rumors spreading all over the country, and he has asked the people to be aware of them.

The public can call the 111 government hotline service to obtain more facts and information, or the hotline number of the Thai Rak Thai Party at 1212.
