have spend some days at Dolpin Bay Resort and enjoyed the area very much.

Very surprised about the Nationalpark near by .

A short write up.

The park is in PranBuri, appr 40km south of HuaHin.

Offers quiet white-sand beaches and towering limestone formations.

A lot of wildlife can been seen.

If you visit the top of Khao Daeng you can enjoy beautiful panorama of the park.

The park has also some caves which are well worth to be explored.

Tam Kaew,Tam Sai and Tam Phraya Nakhon , all are well signed and easy to find.

Tam Phraya Nakhon is the biggest and has two tawerns and a pavilion which was build 1896 for the Kings visit.

More Information are available at the Park Headquarter.

Not too many people .

Hallo Visarunner

We looking to spend a couple of days in the area.

So i have a couple of questions , where did you book the dolphin and ho much was it ?

How far is it from Hua Hin and is it easy to reach with local bus ?If yes is it possible to come back from Hua Hin around midnight to the resort ?

Is there something around the resort like foodstals or shop ?

Wat about the beach ?

We are also interested to visit the park , is it possible on a moped ore is there a bus to the park and can we go on foot in the park ?

Hi Harry, booked direct via webpage, paid 1190.-/room.

Beach is nice,wide and white.

Foodstalls available ,direct at the beach and a few other resorts .

No local transport , but you can check with Hotel if they offer shuttle bus, we did not look as we had own transport.

Difficult to get there from HuaHin, about 40km south of HuaHin and you need own transport to get there. If you need a lift pls PM me or on the Hotelwebside the offered transport is reasonable prized.

It's easy to get by moped to the park,do not count on local Transport, the area is very quiet.

Thanks for the info , i just send a e-mail to the resort to ask about public transport , i think the workers must come in by public transport and once we are in Pranburi maybe we can stop a bus on the road to Hua Hin

Maybe it looks not much but we want to go to Hua hin twice and once to Cha-am so it is getting expensive then for transport in Thailand .

Maybe someone from around he area nows more about the public transport ?
