ceeceeo
Appreciate any assistance with my situation I have a US passport and arrived in Bangkok by plane on Jan 25 on a 30-day visa exempt entry. However I need to stay in Thailand until Mar 26 for personal business. After which I will need to return within the week for another 14 days in April. My visa exempt entry will expire on Feb 23. Can I just leave Thailand for a few days and re-enter by plane to obtain another 30-day and do the same thing again in March? Making a total of 3 visa exempt stays within 3 months? Or will I have to do a visa run for a 60 day visa in Penang/PP etc?
Briggsy
You can fly in and out as you suggested. There is no limit on these 30-day visa waiver stays.
noob7
"Can I just leave Thailand for a few days and re-enter by plane.." You can come back with the next plane, on the very same day. if you want.
JeffreyMcCollum
Or depending on where you are in Thailand, you can just step across the boarder and step back, Some areas this is more easy to do and much less costly than air tickets
lopburi3
But he would only get a 15 day stay at a land crossing.
