Thanks for posting this. It is good to know that another state of the US has gotten rid of apartheid a major injustice.

That makes 10 states out of 50 states.

That's 20 percent of U.S. states that will be offering state gay marriages that are basically meaningless at the federal level for matters of taxation, immigration, social security survivor-ship benefits, etc. However President Obama is doing what he can with the powers that he has (limited) to give these state marriages some more legal meaning. In the short or long run though, it's winning in the supreme court or being stuck with this limited stuff.
