phanangpete
Im selling my home and have a buyer here in Pattaya, my lawyer has informed me that the house will have to be put through at the origional price as this is recorded ie: at Land office, over the years i had heard that usually its put through at a much lower price ! Therefore im paying the Agent 5 %, land office 3.5 %, income tax at 2 % and the duty, ok the buyer is paying half which is good, but is my lawyer being too correct ? if you get my meaning. Paying through the hilt, me thinks but maybe im wrong ?

endlessimage
The house is in company name? Then only the directors/shareholders of the company change, if selling the comapny with the house. No change of name on the Chanote at the Land Office. Buyer will do due diligence on the company and then you will have the directors/shareholders changed at the same time as settlement happens. The company owns the house. Only who controls the company changes. Edited March 27, 2013 by endlessimage
