Led Display Lights

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to get led display cabinet lights from....for a vertical glass cabinet with several glass shelves....need to get the light to each shely via a tall stainless steel type stand with lights at each level.

Also want one on a short stand to shine into a bowl with flexible lead.

Somewhere easy to find would be good.

Your current location would be helpful.

Ask at a shop where you see the lights you want, where did they buy them? You might need to give them 500 or 1000, especially if they're Chinese-Thai, information isn't shared as readily here as it is back home.

Bangkok - I'd say Baan Mo market's your best best, also in higher floors of the big indoor Pratunam market building. Take pictures of exactly what you're looking for.

Also check the online yellow pages "retail" "lighting" and make some calls, may hit one that speaks English.

Budget at least a couple dozen very hot and bothered hours, but you might get lucky and get it done in one day.

Where is Baan Mo market ?

Pratunam you mean the baiyoke tower complex...the smaller one ?....or the newer one just before Pantip, around the corner from world trade centre if walking from there.

How about this for a useless tip:

Baan moo specialises in lava lamps. But you wouldn't be interested in those....

I actually know soeone who can drill holes in glass shelves and wire the entire cabinet whit out breaking the glass.

Ban Mo all kinds of electronics, audio, video etc, bring along anything broken guys lining the streets with soldering irons can fix absolutely anything for peanuts.

Pratunam - other side of Petchaburi from Pantip, back toward Asoke, six or seven storeys full of tiny shops supplying clothing retailers.

Really just walk anywhere around there for a while and you'll see the places selling shop fittings, start flashing your pictures around and people will point the way.

if you just need few for just one installation ( not for production ), then Ikea has off-the-shelve choices. check their website for Thailand too.

You can but LED lights which come with a sticky back to them. So very easy to install yourself.

Available at any good electrical store, Homepro etc
