We have a few mods & fixits needing done and have managed to persuade a couple of local builders to visit to talk them through the workscope. The most important is replacement of parts of the roof - but that is as far as we've got. The first visit has been the only visit, and follow-up calls do not get returned. We assume that either the building industry people are very busy just now, or can make their money more easily by throwing up "uncomplicated" houses and strip malls in the locaility, or that people don't want to work with wooden shingles for whatever reason. Maybe all of these things. So can anyone out there point us to someone who might do this job. (We want to stick with the wooden shingles for aesthetic reasons.) Thanks.
