ricklev Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Based on thousands of trips in Bangkok: A guesstimate: 3 percent of the drivers are at a high enough level of obvious emotional distress and/or cognitive impairment to make dealing with them very unpleasant. 60 percent are normal people doing their best to provide a good service and are fine to deal with. 30 percent do something moderately annoying. 7 percent are unfathomable. smileplur Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Ok ... If you say so ... I drive myself to avoid dealing with them whenever possible ....
wooloomooloo Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Well done, rick. I'm sure you could apply those ratios to the people you meet in general and I concur.
xen Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 What about the ones on Yaa baa . Have had two in recent days. Very scarey to have them driving like mini buses.
Arkady Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 What percentage smell badly of BO or have cabs that stink of some toxic air freshner product? How many illegally lock the doors so you can't get out?

How many illegally lock the doors so you can't get out? Ithe smelling bad goes into the 30 percent moderatly annoying category. Locking the doors to prevent exiting? That's a strange one.
