June 15, 201313 yr Nice to see some new names. What is it like living in the Phrae area? It looks like you might gravitate toward Chiang Mai or Uttaradit as apposed to Chiang Rai, at least according to the map. How long have you been living there? Lots of questions but maybe I should stop.

So do you rent out your place in Chiang Rai or do you still get up here from time to time? 4/2 roster sounds like oil work. I did a two year stretch in the Middle East many moons ago on what we called a two and one. Edited June 15, 201313 yr by villagefarang

I did a two year stretch in the Middle East many moons ago on what we called a two and one. I am thinking about renting it out but it needs a lot of renovations before I do or I might just use it for a place to stay when we come up. And for friends on holidays. I am working on a new nickel mine not far out of Hanoi.

Nickel mine, I wouldn’t have guessed that in a million years, thanks for opening my eyes to something I had never considered.
