Motorcycle recovery/towing service required from Chantaburi to Bkk

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a accident bike that could not be ridden and require to be transported from Chantaburi, Makam police station to Bkk for repair, does anyone knows of anybody that can do the job? Or is there a 24 hrs towing service for motorcycle?

You can send it by using the Thai Postal system, they calculate price by displacement...a 150 cc bike cost about 2200 baht.

No I am not joking.

When it gets to BKK you have to pick it up from the post office.

Thanks, that is not what I want. Isn't there a towing service for motorcycle?

You can probably hire a pickup and do it yourself or arrange for a pickup and driver to bring it to you. If you use a recovery service (like towing) it will really cost but you can do it. Post office is the best choiceif you can wheel it there.

Heres a moving company http://www.jirattransport.com/

Farang with truck in BKK for hire http://classifieds.thaivisa.com/services/removals/rent-hire-a-pickup-truck-from-bangkok-146169.html

Now that i think about it there is a company called 'Vehicle Transport Company' located in BKK across the street from Manheim auctions, they are located on On Nut road just after the Outer ring road overpass, I have seen bikes. I sold a BMW to someone in Phuket once and thats how they got it back. Dont know if they do Chantaburi though.

Maybe you can call Thai information and get the number at 1113

You may also want to try Car World Club Thailand and see if they have a flatbed truck.

just stop or ask the first empty truck or ask police to help you for finding a truck. A truck rent has to be around 1500 - 2000 thb per day plus petrol including the driver.

They load your bike and here you go.

hope your accident is not serious.

If you are lucky Car World Club will speak English. Their site is blocked ny most web rowsers and when I phoned to change my address, they left me hanging on the phone for ages and then cut me off. The next phohonecall they just cust me off. I've been with them a few years, but a Thai friend always contacted them.

I would not recommend them
