Tarav
So I went to the quarantine office today to get my dogs documents ready.. Not until I got back did I realize they don't specify "Screwworm"...but health certificate does state that dog is healthy, free of contagious disease and had rabies vaccine. Anyone out there know if I was to take her back in to the Suvarnabhumi Quarantine they would be able to specify "free of screwworm" or if a separate vet needs to do this? OR even better if it is fine how it is? Thank you so much! We depart the 26th so the sooner the better. I tried to e-mail the office but limited English on their end and Thai on mine, made it difficult for them to understand my question.
Nobelcat
I'm interested in the answer to this, but since no one else has responded I might as well note that in the special case of the USA, it looks like the worse case scenario when you arrive is that they ask you to quarantine your pet at your house. That's at least what little I've been able to gather from reading the CDC and other sites.
Sheryl
regulations vary by state. Some do nto require testing for screworm. Could probably get around this just by strategic choice of airport.
