Real Time Datas with Google Finance - anybody can tell me, how to read this Code?

I just got something interesting on my twitter account

and idian guy states, that one can retrieve for free real time finance datas from Google

as a non programmer, I can hardly understand anything - but a most real time finance datas are quite expensiv,

maybe somebody can have a look at it and make something out of it

..and please SHARE with us

The guy is expaining how to retrieve raw data from Google and process it with a program called Mathematica with some sample programming scripts.

I'm affraid it's all out of your league! Better for you to buy the data. thumbsup.gif

You could always just grab what you're interested in and then process in Excel...

where

q= stock symbol on Google finance

x= exchange symbol

i= interval (here 60 means 60 sec (1 minute interval))

p= no of period(here 5d denotes 5 days of data)

f= parameters (day, close, open, high and low)

df= difference (cpct is may be in % change )

auto =1,

ts = time start if you cut the last 4 digitsthe rest gives the start day in seconds

you can choose your own set of value depending upon your need.
