My friend has a flight from BKK to Irl with the above airlines. Can any1 tell my what the maximum luggage load is?

That depends on the ticket category. Normally it is 20 KGs for economy plus 5 or 7 kilo for hand luggage. Their website will have the correct informaiton.

Can vary by route as well - some airlines publish different standards, for example, if the flight goes to or from the US.

I flew with them yesterday to AMS and was 5 KG's over my limit and nothing said.I also had a small suitcase and a laptop for carry-on baggage and didn't have any problems.

Also very rare for them to weigh carry-on except for the silly carriers like Ryanair.
