Indeed the land is the mother's, who took out a large loan and secured it with the land. But neither that nor the sister's kids are a major issue, and yes, they are the sister's without a doubt. The real issues are PG's huge lack of respect, her lack of maturity, inability to express herself well in English, lack of domestic savoir faire, her amazing laziness, not to mention we have wildly different tastes in many things. As her real, full personality emerges, it is not all fun and games. We're both very selfish. Regarding payments, I'm only 1000 Baht down, not counting food and dinners obviously. On her birthday I gave her 35000 Baht, as she made clear she didn't want a present but wanted to buy the phone herself. I then heavily lobbied for a non-Iphone option, and she bought it for me, saying we'll both use it and if she doesn't like it she'll buy an Iphone. So she bought me a phone for 19000 Baht, so I got most of my money back. In addition she paid for a lot of things herself. She talked about a job, but nothing yet. She talked about going to Sisaket with me, but didn't go. No unwell family members. No second phone, well, apart from the one we both use.
