thai passport renewal in uk

Featured Replies

good evening,

may I ask if anyone knows how soon before expiry a thai passport can be renewed in the uk?

how easy is the process, I believe you have to call for an appointment in London and the passport is then mailed to you when it is processed.

I have also heard cases of extending the validity of the existing passport, is this true?

thanks in advance.

kind regards

You can renew it anytime you like. I know people who renew it when they get sick of their photo.

As long as you have an appointment, renewal is easy. Old passport, your ID card, and ideally, a copy of your house registration just in case.
