bluweyze
Some time ago I bought the old PVR box from True for some high price. With HD they changed to a new system and I have my old PVR box completely useless. With my new CTH I want to record programmes outside of the true system. Does anyone know if the True PVR box can be converted to use outside of True? Alternatively does anywhere in Thailand sell DVD/Blueray Hard Drive recorders/players. astral
Depending in the actual model, you may be able to Flash the memory and make it usable with other satellites? Does it have a brand name/model number on the back or bottom?
monty
It will definitely not work with CTH. It won't be able to decode CTH channels (CTH does not use a smart card), and the HDMI output of CTH is copy protected, meaning it shows on a TV but if you feed the HDMI into a recording device (or HDMI capture card for PC), it will not work! inthepink
What about recording from composite AV feed - would that be possible?
