Khaoen Srinakarin National Park, Kanchanaburi

Featured Replies

We are planning a trip to Srinakarin NP in Kanchanaburi next month. We may take our tent but their website shows cabins are available for B900 per night so we may rent a cabin. The waterfall and hot springs sound interesting. Any other recommendations from anyone who has been there recently? Looking at the map it looks like we should go north on route 323 from Kanchanaburi but the park website says to go up route 3199? We will be driving from Bangkok.

Hi Spaniel,

From BKK you will have to be on the 323 road and once out of the town center just keep on going unit you reach last main traffic light and carry on straight up the 3199.

Hope this helps you out and Welcome to Kan.thumbsup.gif

5 days mini-holiday in Kan last week, but we stayed around the city area and did some driving around/exploring. It was my first time there.

Not sure if you're into it, but we went with a guy called Vinnie who runs Ikankayak (ikankayak.com) there. Fishing on a lake one day, kayak trip down the river our last morning. I would like to try his "full moon" kayak down the river next time, that sounds pretty neat.

We enjoyed our stay in Kan. Hope you have a great time.

Cheers,

J
