The evolution of TVF and legacy for future generations.....

Hi Members,

Thai Visa Forum has evolved to a Goliath of internet forums on the world wide web over the past ten years.

The extensive spectrum of forums, sub-forum's, topic's and contributions are testament to the membership, Moderators and admin.

You can get answers to questions about anything on the planet - farming, music, family, visa's, laws, business, motoring, tips and tricks etc, the list is endless!

So a big pat on the back to all the contributorsclap2.gif past and present!

How do you envisage the future for the forum and future generations in 10 or 20 years time?

Do you see your children becoming members looking for advice and information and sharing experiences?

The base membership is western men who have the financial means to move from wealthier nations to a relatively poorer and cheaper Thailand.

There was a marked step change in western male immigration in the immediate aftermath of the mid 90s Asian economic crash - and a subsequent painful disembarkation back home to many when the Thai economy (and exchange rate) recovered.

When you say, 'future generations' how many future generations do you think will be able to enjoy the same economic advantage?

As TVF members start to die in greater numbers will they be replaced fully by their children, or younger expats moving here or having a Thai love interest. No, but it will evolve in some way. Perhaps it will move away from the repository of information and gripes that it is now into a more superficial, shallow, self interested, ego driven forum, perfect for the modern world and some of the recent new members
