pilm
I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9 which says it's running Android Version: 3.2 I believe this is called Honeycomb. I want the AIS Mobile BPL app which streams live PL football legally from CTH. Unfortunately it says my device is not compatible, when I try to download the app. I believe that 3.2 is quite old. I go to settings/about device/software update/update (auto update box is ticked already) and it just says that 'no update available'. How do I update to the latest version? I thought the thing with Android is that the latest versions are always made available for free to users.

goutngrump
Mine updated automatically almost a year ago. Perhaps you have left it too late for automatic, but the Samsung Service Center should be able to do.
lomatopo
I guess it would help if you could share any details? Are you comfortable using a PC? Can you successfully connect your Tab to your PC? Do you have/use KiES? What is the exact model number? Settings, About device, Model Number? You could try KiES, or download the firmware and flash with ODIN. Assume you have a GT-P7300? http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgiovzNl6-o
keeniau96
The Cyanogen solution would work but probably a bit too complex for average users. Sammie Service is a good solution.
