slapout
you might want to do a little more research (google) homework, potential market (its not the rice paddy). Or you could hire an knowledable agent and he would do the leg work for you.

rice555
Hello All, most all of the major makers of drip irrigation have a store/office here. I mostly use Netafim, which also has a partnership with Super Products. You can get drip tape with spacings 8cm to 2M here from one of the 3 major makers of irrigation products. Most have web sites you can access, Super Products, Netafim and Metzerplaz(Nana Dan was bought out by Co. from India). I can get most products I need at one store here in Korat or call and have mailed to my door from BKK. "They do not have ALL items you see in their Western Catalogs". I have to pick up my new passport in BKK on the first of Oct. and will pick up some things that the store doesn't have most of the time, but BKK main store does. Also micro sprinkler and dripper's are easy to find. rice555
Torrens54
When we lived here previously, I couldn't find much of it, so when we came back, I brought a heap of it in amongst other stuff in a shipping container. Could have saved myself the trouble. I have found everything I need is now stocked at GLOBAL Hardware store. Perhaps check on line.

rice555
Hello All, it might be helpful if you give the area you'll be in! It's hard to give a name of a store otherwise. We don't have GLOBAL hardware store in Korat, but we have DoHome which is about 4 football fields in size and has a large selection of LDPE/HDPE and fittings 1/2"- 3", big selection of mini sprinklers and driper's, and spray tapes. Usually have 4/5 different drip tapes with different spacings,(Queen Gil, T-Tape and Netafim) and flow rates and attach fittings to PVC/PE/Lay Flat. Valves, flow controls, Bat./AC timmers/timmers-valves. BKK is where all the main players have offices/stores. Another place to look is in House Agricultural Magazine, has adds for most of the major suppliers in LOS. Here is a page out of the mag., they will send you a copy of their catalog for free. Also has capacity and volume graph's for pumps and PE pipe. The Mag is sold all over LOS at most News stands. rice555
