เเก (gae) is middle-tone, not "old". Old is "แก่"...low tone.

'gae' is not rude/crude (crude is "meung" มึง)...but it is _familiar_...so if the person is not a friend, the same age (or younger), then DO NOT use "gae", use "Koon"

but mainly word for "you".

"คุณ" you can use with every people (standard thai language)

"แก" mainly use with friend
