If I have not been drinking in the evening, I go to bed anytime between 6am and 8am and sleep till just past noon.

I require very little sleep.. and if I have had a few beers, I still don't go to bed till between 4am and 5am.

A lot of the neighbours in my street get up early, but not till about 6am... never seen anyone up at 4am in my area..... ever.

For the record... I am an insomniac, which I will start another thread about.

i guess not if you live in the suburbs. mostly the places i stay are central near the thai local market. this is where the action is. for the record it was breakfast at 7-11, two trays, ga pao gai with rice, and shrimp omelet with rice and tetra brik tomato juice, because the two places i wanted to buy from werent operating today. ok i also had a mama tom yang kung noodle with a spirulina powders top sprinkling, to top it off and gsd ginseng drink too (not from 7-11).total cost around 100 baht. small packet of fish sauce with chili, and also chili tomato sauce in there too. my time now says 6.37am and i went out over an hour ago.

I lived in Thonburi near a wetmarket, and by 5AM things were pretty full swing; packed bus stops, long tuk tuk lines, and lots of old lady's. I'm downtown now, but I don't wake up that early anymore, so no idea when people are active here.

In the village at 8 PM seems like a Ghost town, 4:30 AM the village comes to life, the rice farmers going to the rice field many women going to the market to buy fresh food for the days meals, to take breakfast to the workers in the fields and to start their long day!
