November 12, 201312 yr I tend to agree with undercover, paying that sort of money for an every day use vehicle , I would have thought that the manufactures would have seriously though about the noise suppression aspect , even allowing for the wrong tyer pressure and varied road surfaces . Sitting there in your new CR-V loaded with options and accessories and you have to turn the stereo up high to block out the road noise seems like a cruel joke , and having to possibly change the original set of tyers for more suitable less noise generating type seems crazy . Honda have always lagged other makes when it comes to noise suppression. The previous gen Accord was especially abysmal - you couldn't have a normal conversation at 100km/hr on a cement highway - the odd thing about that was that a base model City was quieter. I guess it's just not important to them, or just not their engineers' forte.
