Lao visas

Featured Replies

We live very close to Laos. We would like to go there for weekends. Savannakhet, Boloven lovely. and Si Phan Don However I don't really want to spend 1990B every weekend and fill up my passport pages. The Thai family are, of course pretty much free. We could set up a business in Laos and then get a business visa......must be another way? Anyone done this??

The Lao embassy website mentions a multiple entry visa but only info is that it has to be applied for at the consular affairs office in Vientiane.

Cost for visa seems high for many countries it is 1500 baht or $35. Highest I can recall is $41 for Canadians. You could save some money by paying in US dollars I am sure.
