Any Hotel Discounts due to Unrest?

Featured Replies

Sorry to be attempting to profit from the sad situation, but has anyone seen any discounts on hotels over the next few weeks?

Preferably close to Bangkok but near a beach.

Or is everything still booked up despite the unrest?

Thanks

Pattaya also I hope

Given the Thai Business Model .. more likely they will raise the price due to reduced bookings ... facepalm.gif

... or the extra excitement that can be had.

considering everyone has been staying at their hotels, I doubt if there are many discounts right at this moment but I've seen some great pre christmas deals at some top resorts popping up (due to cancellations?)

I'd imagine that the prospect of getting H7N9 bird flu can't be helping visitor arrivals either.

More good deals at higher end of the market. Starwood ( Sheraton, Le Merdien, W, Aloft, 4 Points etc) has some good deals for Bangkok this weekend and into next week

... or the extra excitement that can be had.

... or the extra excitement excrement that can be had in the water off the main tourist areas.

Yes that is what I meant.

Can you share any you've seen please?

You could also look at ensogo.com always have deals ...but just check the reviews on other sites before you book.

Thanks, can't see anything on Agoda, will check ensogo.

I guess the protest haven't put anyone off travelling yet.
