where do I go for pp photos the post office?

I don't intend to be mean but what gives you the idea the Thai PO does PP photos ?.....if these are for a British pp application read the notes and requirements very carefully and show who ever does them for you the examples of what is and isn't acceptable as you really don't want your photos rejected by the WP office

One suspects you would be better posting this on the CM forum to get up to date info, but most photography / camera shops will do them for you if memory serves there is a shop about 150m from the British consulate who does/did compliant photos

If you are going to British Consulate then walk north from there to the intersection and turn right. About 30m along there , is a Fuji shop. They know how to do correct photos. Presume they could do for other passports too.

I got photos at the Thai immigration place, the place where I got my 30-day extension on my 60/90 day tourist visa. I assume they're good enough for passports. I think they were four for 100 baht.
