Popular Post Scamper
As Suthep and the supporters of the PDRC become the only ones - in lieu of the conspicuous absence of the administration and the police - to honour the death of the taxi driver, he - and his supporters - continue to show a great deal of bravery in the light of what is now very clear danger. After all, they are armed with whistles, cheers, and bicycles. They are not armed with grenades, nor do they have the power of the police to deflect from a true investigation, and to press their own narrative. They are only armed with the power of their convictions. For those who so quickly criticize this reform movement, these people are peacefully walking down the street, hand in hand. Direct your scorn to those who would throw bombs on them, to those who in their vested power do everything to discourage true investigations into these attacks, and do everything in their power to stamp on the right to free and peaceful expression in a free and open society. Pib
Mr Suthep thanked the protesters from Chaengwattana and said he always thought of them but could not join the protest there due to the danger of being arrested by police. The BIB wouldn't arrest Suthep even if he walked by 10 police stations by himself as they are afraid of the possible consequences (i.e., protesters overtaking the police station, a riot ensuring, etc). Until Suthep freely gives himself up he has nothing to fear in the Valley of Thailand.

Absolutely, and just wait to be rewarded for his efforts the same way Jatuporn, Nattawut, Kwanchai and others were. Thailand is truly an amazing country. Being corrupted, breaking the law, resorting to terrorism and vandalism, violence etc...etc... will get you up the ladder. Regrettably, it appears that the only language Thais understand is violence. poisonus
6 million again today? You seem very very obsessed with the protester numbers. This is about shutting down BKK not a massive call for numbers, they already done that phase of the protests to show everyone their support and boy was it mega impressive. They have moved on... They don't need a million people at each intersection, they just need what it takes and the result is a success. They are CLOSED, people are free to move around between the many sites and of course free to go and get a shower, eat, work and do their day to day stuff. The roads are empty because they are closed.... get it? If they want to close 100 intersections, they can get the support to make it happen. Stop clinging to the picures of empty space in some sort of attempt to lure us into thinking the support is dying off because I don't think anyone has changed their minds about what they want from these protests. Your cling to hope is a futile one. Maybe you should change your avatar to a picture of Yingluck because using the Thai flag is an insult to Thailand considering your views of the place.

Would be nice to know what makes the right for you to make last statement. At the end of the day, I think most (not all) of us really cares about this country, because we have our families and kids here, we have a job or a business here, or simply we care the people here. The fact someone have ideas different than you, then you tell he is not worth to use the flag as avatar is just BULLSHIT. Be more tolerant, respect other ideas without insult or arrogate yourself the right to tell what other posters can or cannot do. You seem to know everything, but you just have your IDEAS, that I anyway respect. You please do the same with others, especially in a replu to a post where there is NOT an OFFENCE toward YOU! Full of arrogant posters like you around here lately and this is the reason why I am not writing much in the last days. I expect the rest of the herd will be coming to insult me too, just for make the picture clear. Edited January 19, 2014 by newcomer71

Let's get serious and tell the things as they are. This is a war for getting or cling on power. Nothing more. Suthep against Shinawatra. People is just used by both of them. Stradavarius37
Why are people getting down on Suthep? He is doing the exact same thing that Thaksin and the Red Shirts did in 2010, but he actually has the balls to lead it himself. Both of them are devils and unworthy of leadership, to be sure, but at least give him his due - is not a pu$$y hiding like Thaksin.

kurtgruen
Personally, I love the music, but if I was on the other side, of the political spectrum, I guess, I wouldn't like it either, because it is so effective. As for protest numbers, some posters must be living in a different universe than me, because when I turn on my live Television at night, (not doctored versions of reality), I see wall to wall, cheering people, as far as the eye can see. Same during the day, when I see Suthep leading the marchers. I see lots of people on the sidelines, on sidewalks and in buildings, cheering and waving Thai flags, as the demonstrators walk by. During the walks, people are more spread out, but there are still lots...Consider, that the grenade attack, the other day, was 100 meters behind Khun Suthep, but even after the attack, protesters were still passing that sight, for about an hour (more spread out and less dense, by that time) The posters, who minimize the numbers, must be hoping that nobody watches bluesky.tv at night? Otherwise, they would be called on their BS all the time.
