PATTAYA:--A Pattaya Taxi Driver was lucky to escape uninjured following an altercation with two Burmese Men who were armed with knives and attempted to avoid paying a Taxi Fare by attacking the driver.

The incident occurred on Monday Night at the entrance to Soi 12 on the Sukhumvit Road in North Pattaya. Khun Prichar aged 44 was flagged down by a group of men and two of them asked to be taken to Bangkok. A fee of 2,000 Baht was agreed and the two men entered the taxi.

As they began their journey, the men changed their minds and asked the driver to drop them off at the North Pattaya Bus Terminal instead. The driver demanded a fee of 500 Baht which the two men claimed they did not have. The situation became heated to the point where the two passengers produced knives and attacked the driver who left his vehicle.

That'll teach him for trying to charge a rip-off fare to the bus station. What works on the farang, doesn't wash with the Burmese. whistling.gif

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing......

Funny (or not so), alright for them robbing taxi drivers exploit the tourists, but do not like being robbed themselves.

haha

when the real victims, i mean the foreigner, fight back, the police are prompt to intervene. As a foreigner you can only be a victim but you dont have to fight back....lol

laugh.png (honestly you think the thai taxi driver is telling the truth?)

Police soon arrived and tracked the two suspects to a Chinese Cemetery nearby where they were found to be hiding in bushes. After some rough justice involving the taxi driver, the suspects were taken to Banglamung Police Station

Yup, don't even need pointing pics for this one. Justice has been served.

Didnt know the taxi drivers are also judges in Thailand. With an assistance of the cops.

  • 2 weeks later...

I wonder who the aggressor really was and what really happened.

Ha! Why was he demanding 500B the conning sod....

there is a nice feeling of schadenfreude here...

Maybe this will make him think twice in future about being a lying cheating scumball, but then pigs might fly...

I say let them fight it out, neither is worth spit ! All low life's as far as I am concerned !
