ginjag
Must be karma crashing prior to going to a rescue training for crashes Sent from my GT-S5310 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app It crash landed on a pick-up truck ?? that was on the runway ?? If the pick-up was not aware of the incoming helicopter it would be similar to the RANGSIT container dropping out the sky. Will we ever know why it crashed ? horrendous accident.

Thait Spot
Thai journalists need to learn the difference between a crash and a crash landing Planes are normally able to glide, maintain direction and lose height for distance travelled enabling a crash landing if a normal landing isn't an option Helicopters have the flying ability of bricks if their rotating wings cease to function - that would be a crash. If they land on top of stationary objects that have not been seen by the pilot - one can form one's own opinion. Might be the same helicopter that Yingluck once used. It sounds like the pickup truck was moving at the time, so a more difficult target to hit. That may be why he felt he needed to practise crash landing?
