I'm interested (possibly) in buying a Thai-registered, second-hand boat for private use by me, - as opposed to using it for some sort of commercial enterprise. Can anyone give me some insight into the rules? eg: Can a non-Thai own a boat for private use? Are there any restrictions on type of boat, size, use etc etc?
