ExpatOilWorker
Did the captain flee? Was he Thai? Most likely Thai, as the ship is Thai registered: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=585113 Edited February 19, 2014 by ExpatOilWorker

monkey4u
It ran aground January 9. It is now Feb 19. Rescue operations on Thai time? You cant rush these things. First you need a few politicians to decide how much they can pocket from this accident Then you need to gather some locals to point at the ship for photographic proof it happened

MK1
Did the captain flee? Was he Thai? Most likely Thai, as the ship is Thai registered: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=585113 Therefore, they have ran aground under a flag of convenience; rather than the flag of inconvenience if this had occurred in another country. Which must mean they don’t have to explain anything ! Edited February 19, 2014 by MK1
